Welcome to Good Dog Good Treats. My name is Kristen and I am the Good Treats Baker. I began my home bakery in 2020 because the dog treats I was buying at the grocery store were full of preservatives, chemicals and dyes. I decided to create 4 recipes, each inspired by my 4 dogs, that contain all natural, healthy fruits and vegetables. They are made with very few ingredients and each is good for something: fiber, heart health, joints and weight management. I believe that all dogs deserve good treats and I hope your dogs enjoy my home baked treats as much as mine do!
Mazzy has been the head of our household for 16 years and has a huge personality. Her Mazz Cake Bites are soft and chewy because she no longer has all of her teeth. They contain peanut butter and pumpkin which is great for fiber.
Luna is our rescue and the sweetest dog we have known. We made her Rescue Luna Hearts good for the heart. With carrots, apples, peanut butter and whole oats they are almost as sweet as she is.
Our spunky boy Monte was diagnosed with diabetes in his late years so our Full Monte bones are inspired by him. They only contain broccoli and oat flour and they are great for diabetic dogs and weight management.
Lexy is the girl who inspired this whole idea. As she aged she had hip problems so we use peanut butter, bananas and honey in her Lexy Girl Cookies to help with joints. They smell incredible!
We are usually at weekend farmers markets selling our good treats. Check out our schedule here!
